Who's behind this
Rother Tech is one person. I've been writing software since the late nineties, spent a long stretch doing it for other people, got bored, and started building the apps I kept wishing existed.
That's the whole business model: build a thing well, charge a fair price for it once, don't put ads in it, don't harvest anything, and let it be useful. There's no growth target and no investor asking why engagement is flat.
The rules I hold myself to
01
No advertising, ever. Not a banner, not an interstitial, not a "rewarded" video.
02
Collect nothing. If a feature needs a server, it needs a very good reason first.
03
No accounts unless the app genuinely cannot work without one.
04
Charge once, fairly. Updates are part of what you bought.
05
Write the privacy policy in plain English, and make it short enough that people read it.
If you've found a bug or you've got an idea, send it over.
