Axel is built by Rother Tech. This policy covers the Axel app for iPhone and iPad.
What we collect
Nothing.
Axel does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All data — including your quiz history and driving log — is stored only on your device and is never shared with anyone. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party services of any kind. In Apple’s App Store privacy terms, Axel is classified as “Data Not Collected.”
What stays on your device
Axel saves three things, locally, so the app can work. None of it ever leaves your device.

Deleting the app deletes all of it.
No network connection
Axel makes no network requests at all. Every quiz question, cheat sheet and state guide is bundled inside the app. There is no backend server, no cloud sync and no API — there is nowhere for your data to go.
No permissions
Axel requests no device permissions: no location, camera, microphone, contacts or notifications, and no tracking prompt.
The driving log is a stopwatch, not GPS tracking. When you tap Start and Stop it records those two times and works out the duration; the driving type and time of day are what you select yourself. It knows how long you drove — never where.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. Axel never receives your payment details.
Data collected by Apple
As with every App Store app, iOS itself may collect standard diagnostic and crash data if you have allowed it in your device settings. That is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy (apple.com/privacy), not this one, and Axel receives none of it.
When you contact us
If you email us or use the feedback form on this website, we receive what you choose to send — typically an email address and a message. We use it only to reply. We never use it for marketing and never sell it.
Children
Axel is built for learner drivers, who are often 15 to 17. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. If you are a parent or guardian and think your child has sent us personal information through support, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If how Axel handles information ever changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised.
